Erita Chen is a Senior history major from Hong Kong and the artistic director of the Yale Undergraduate Ballet Company. She has performed in the Dance Lab’s Rite of Spring, Mohabbat, and Improvisation projects, and is also active in Yale’s theater, film, and comedy communities. Having previously studied at the American Ballet Theatre, The Royal Ballet School, and The Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, Erita entered Yale with a foundation in ballet, contemporary, and Chinese dance. She is grateful that the Dance Lab has given her the opportunity to learn about different dance traditions and collaborate with great artists!
Erita is currently studying Theater in London this semester, but is still available to communicate with prospective Yalies online on Yale’s dance offerings.
