Please join us for an open, group audition for the 2026-2027 Yale Dance Lab. Yale Dance Lab's 2026-2027 project focuses on the nexus of choreographic practice and the museum. Featuring choreography by Renée Robinson, former principal dancer with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and Sarah Michelson, a 2019 MacArthur Fellow, Dance as/in Art will rehearse September through early February and culminate in public performances February 6, 2027.
Auditions will be September 4, 2026 from 5:30-7pm at the Broadway Rehearsal lofts (294 Elm St. 3rd floor)
Rehearsals will begin on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Rehearsals will happen twice a week; Tuesday's from 5:30-8pm, and Saturday's from 12:30-3:30pm at the Broadway Rehearsal Lofts. Dancers are allowed a max of 3 missed rehearsals.
