Rite of Spring - Audition Call - September 6

Calling all Dancers! 

The Yale Dance Lab will hold an audition on Tuesday, September 6 from 4-6 pm for a February 2023 new production of the Rite of Spring.

The production will be co-choreographed by Emily Coates and Lacina Coulibaly in new partnership with the Yale Symphony Orchestra and presented by the Schwarzman Center that will culminate in a public performance of Rite of Spring.

The audition will be held at Broadway Rehearsal Loft, 294 Elm Street, Room 303.

Rehearsals will take place during the fall semester Tuesdays and Thursday 4:00 – 6:00 pm from September 8 – December 8, 2022 (except October and Thanksgiving breaks).  Rehearsals will continue Tuesdays and Thursdays in the spring semester January 24 - February 15, 2023. 

Tech and dress rehearsal will take place February 15-17, 2023. The performance is scheduled for Saturday, February 18, 2023.  

Full attendance is required. 

The project is open to students in Yale College and graduate programs. **Students who are graduating this winter (and thus not on campus next semester) are not able to participate.**
